Ganesh has for thousands of years been the "god of art" and good luck to the Hindus of the world. In these renditions he has been delicately sculpted by the craftsmen of Chiang Mai, Thailand, with respect. The artisans used the celadon ceramic craft that these potters and their fathers before them have perfected. The potter has signed each statue on the bottom with pride.
