| Antique Thai Buddhist temple or wat decoration. These wood decorations adorn the corners of the roofs of all temples in Thailand. Once carved from a single teak log, with primitive tools. They depict the tail of the Naga (Thai mythical serpent creature) that also adorns temples in Thailand and elsewhere in South East Asia. Deeply worn from exposure to the elements over the last century it now has lost its usefulness to the temple monks, but for the modern home or business it shines with its deep primitive, rustic look.
