| Burmese primitive antique elephant bell. These ornate bronze bells were used by the villagers of old Burma to locate elephants (not that it seems likely to loose one)if they grazed their way into the jungle and as as adornments. Professionally mounted with a steel rod stem and a modern clear Lucite base, that matches any table top. Beautiful patina. Excellent condition. Circa 1880 to 1920. Size: 3 inch diam bell, 8.5 inch tall, 5 x 3.5 inch base. | ||
