| Wooden Garuda the bird animal god. This beautiful Garuda carving was acquired from a Buddhist temple (Wat) in Northern Thailand, during a recent renovation. The dealer had added some gold leaf to cover the old red paint, prior to us purchasing the sculpture. We built a steel cradle mount to display the artifact, without the need for any drill holes. Garuda (Part bird) is one of the three mythological Hindu animal gods. The age of the piece is believed to be circa 1900-1920. Size: 11" wide x 5" deep, 18.5" tall (Including stand) | ||
