| Asian rustic mounted sticky rice pan with handle. These hard wood teak trays were handmade by the rural villagers of Northern Thailand. Each one has a unique look and was carved from a single solid piece of wood with primitive tools. Once used by the villagers to spread the hot sticky rice on to get the proper moisture content. Now these primitive kitchen utensils have been replaced with aluminum. Once a family's necessity, now a great rustic home decor accent piece for your modern home. Mounted in one of our custom cradle mounts so the artifact can be removed or mounted without damage. The finish is preserved with a combination of bee's wax and tree lacquer.
