| Beautifully made Theodor Fahrner "Sweetheart" necklace. This piece was made circa 1914 to show support for the troops in WW1, and women often wore the necklaces for their "sweethearts". It has applied leaves and the Iron Cross is done with a black matte enamel. The chain attaches to a blister pearl. The pendant is marked on the back, "TF 935". The chain measures approx. 17 1/2" around, and the pendant is approx. 1 1/4" by 1" with the blister pearl, and 1" by 1" without the pearl. There is the faintest chip of enamel at the lower tip of the "W" on the pendant. Otherwise, it's in excellent condition. | ||
