HEINTZ / SILVER CREST STERLING SILVER OVERLAY A&C VASE
From the Arts & Crafts period, a silver patina vase with a sterling overlay design of 3 swans in the water. The swans are in 3 different positions. The work is that of a line called "Silver Crest" made by the Smith Metal Arts Company when many of the Heintz metal workers left the Heintz Art Metal Shop and founded the Smith Metal Arts Company in 1919. This piece is acid etched with a silver bronze finish for which the company was known.

Measurements: 4 1/2" in height and approx 3" at the widest part in the center of the vase. The top opening is 2" in diameter and the base measures just under 2."

Excellent Condition (one extremely shallow fingernail size impression which is barely visible and mentioned for accuracy)
