This Beautiful, Heavy chair is profusly carved with classic swirls and designs
of the period. The Walnut is a refreshingly light honey colour, which in the average
hallway being usually dark, would fit the gloom.
There is a number stamped on the underneath. A fine piece in very good condition.

This fine pair of pole screens have glazed tapestry panels, containing heraldic crests, one with the Latin Leoni Non Sagittis Fido ( I trust to the Lion not to the arrows)
The coat of arms of the Egebton family. The other Vigilantia Fortior (Vigilance Stranger). One pole is slightly longer than the other and one frame is a little darker,
nevertheless a lovely pair of screens that would grace any fine home.

This most attractive piece is of small size. It has Two angled glazed doors with stained leaded
glass panels and bulls eye blue central roundel. It has two nice clasps that click to keep the doors
shut, two dovetailed drawers which fit snugly, then a gallery with two pillars above a hinged fold over
beize covered writing surface which is supported by an open long drawer.
This piece was most likely made by Maples and is of good quality as well as being extremely useful.

This most attractive Regancy piece has a rich patina a Baluster stem three Cabriole legs with paw feet.
I always love these little stands because they also serve as a drinks table and hardly take up any room.
There are three small losses around the top rim otherwise in very good condition.

This nice piece was aquired by the husband of the lady from whom I purchased it.
He was an army officer serving in Egypt. It is skillfully engraved with Islamic decoration
I am not knowledgeable about Egyptian hallmarks but I know that the cat started in 1906 and was
replaced by the Lotus flower in 1946, so one can assume it was made between these two dates,
more likely towards the later.
