The charm of this piece is that it is a small sized hoof from a pony named Magpie.
I think this is a wonderful way to remember ones faithful four legged friend.
Our huntsman did one for me about thirty years ago but in no way as professionally mounted as this one.

This piece is a rich colour, I have a feeling that it may have been made in the Colonial India to a British design.
On a folding x frame, the tope with three sections having nicely shaped corners.
If only this table could talk of the interesting history that it must have

A really nice 19th century example of fine quality. In good original condition.
The catch works very well and the handle is good and strong.
The strap end has worn through use otherwise in very good condition.
Ready for the coming season
A very pretty chest of three long drawers with carved panels to either side.
Each end has a carved vacant cartouche and a decorative shaped frieze to the base.
It stands on four short cabriole legs.
Not only most decorative but very useful. I have one packed with all my personal bits and pieces.

This sauce boat is in very good condition with nice clear hallmarks for Sheffield 1937 and
makers initials EV for Emile Viener (Viners).
It has been in storage for many years hence the good condition, in need of a jolly good clean

This most elegant silver on copper tea urn was made prior to the ones with lots of fussy detail.
This one has reeded handles and top gadrooning to the borders, acanthus finial to the cover and square base with ball supports.
An amount of silver plating has worn off due to regular polishing by the household staff, to me this adds to the character with the warming effect of copper blending with silver. A lovely piece which would grace any fine room.
