Dating from the British colonial rule of India. This Finely crafted piece is embossed profusely with trailing vines and foliage. The neck rising to the chained stopper is decorated with acanthus leaves. A truly lovely piece of Indian Silver which I believe are greatly under rated and under-priced. 15 cm high (6"inches)

This lovely box is profusely decorated with scrolling designs, Vines, Acanthus and foliage. The lid is embossed with an impressive elephant with a circle, the side panels are decorated with eight mythical beasts, the underside with a square pattern of numerous circular shapes. There is a wood lining. Silver marks to the edge of the lid, in good condition, the lid shuts firmly. Size: Width 9cm Height 4cm Weight: 284g Including Lining

This lovely and most useful box is from the days of the last Tsar. It has a matted finish, hinged lid and has a gilt interior. The hallmarks are crisp 84 for St Petersburg Makers initials TA. This attractive server is decorated on the finial with a milkmaid wearing traditional dress with clogs and two buckets. two cherubs faces on the shaft. The server has an embossed country scene of a farmer, his wife and two children in a harvest field surrounded by a foliate decoration. The blade has foliate detailing, there are four hallmarks including the date letter for 1927. A most decorative piece. Weight: 71g Length 23cm

The bowl is skilfully chased with various birds within a rococo decoration, the centre inset with a coin dated 1698. There are three very small holes in the chasing but not noticeable unless held to the light. An impressive piece, nicely decorated. Length: 34.5cm

This most elegant jug is of baluster shape, the faceted cut glass spirals make a wonderful effect. The metalwork is decorated with floral swags and sprays. This jug was once electroplated but the lovely pewter effect I think, is just as good. A truly lovely piece. Height 33cm (13"inches)
