This definitive little Victorian country style armchair is beautifully made and solid. Not to be confused with lesser examples that one comes across.
The strong and clear hallmarks are for London 1887 with makers initials CG

This interesting piece of London history is a most attractive silver plated table centrepiece in the form of an entwined fruiting tree with trailing vines on a spreading multi lobed foot.
The inscription reads ‘Presented By the Law Parliamentary and City Courts Committee to Their Respected Chairman Thomas Parkersen F.S.A DECR 1865’
Another section bears an armorial crest with Latin inscription Sapere Aude (Dare to be wise Dare to know)

A really grand piece of sensible size. I have seen similar in palaces and stately Homes usually they are enormous.
On a stepped triform base with three lions wearing Roman Helmets. The Corinthian column is surrounded by acanthus leaves and there is a decorated column with a circular finial supporting three elaborate branches terminating in three eagles standing on spheres with outstretched wings.

A beautifully made and quite heavy example having an attractive all over foliate decoration bearing the hallmarks for London 1803. The makers initials W the other is rubbed.
The lid and hinge is tight and strong, the body is dished due to pressure, the guidling shows signs of wear which is to be expected.
This one would make a fitting addition to a fine collection
A lovely model of this iconic craft, seen in large numbers around the beautiful waterways of Venice.
Both Gondola oars are missing otherwise in good condition with hallmarks to the underside and
English silver import marks for London on the bow of the Gondola.

This fine little pair both read ‘Won by Mr CJ Allday 1932’ ‘Northamptonshire Milk Recording Society Replica of Makbar Challenge Cup’
The campana shaped cups stand on a circular base, the lower part of fluted style. Below the rim is a continuous foliate border.
Both have rococo style handles.
The circular covers terminate in the figure of a cow.

This nice pair of salts are on hoof feet with a plain border and nicely gilded interiors. One has a very tiny split to the rim
and the legs are very slightly bent but visibly virtually unnoticeable.
Marks rubbed but still legible. A very nice handmade pair.

A very nice case decorated in shell pattern, a shaped panel containing a
German Castle set amongst a rocky landscape can be seen.
It has a ribbed original rose red interior.
The whole is brass bound with a central clasp.
