The charm of this piece is that it is a small sized hoof from a pony named Magpie.
I think this is a wonderful way to remember ones faithful four legged friend.
Our huntsman did one for me about thirty years ago but in no way as professionally mounted as this one.
The inkwell fetlock and shoe are silver plated, stamped Magpie to the lid and to the underside of the shoe Mounted by A&N LD which is the army & Navy Stores London.

This most elegant silver on copper tea urn was made prior to the ones with lots of fussy detail.
This one has reeded handles and top gadrooning to the borders, acanthus finial to the cover and square base with ball supports.

19th Century Grand Tour Continental Silver Gondola
A lovely model of this iconic craft, seen in large numbers around the beautiful waterways of Venice.
Both Gondola oars are missing otherwise in good condition with hallmarks to the underside and
English silver import marks for London on the bow of the Gondola.
A nice little piece
This heavy fine quality pair of two branch three sconce candelabra have barrel shaped columns
with four set of double rings, a partially reeded base and removable sconces.
Although candlesticks of the Victorian era tend to be rather fussy with lots of foliage etc.,
this pair impress me for their elegant simplicity which cannot fail to impress.
Very slight loss to the silver plate which reveals the warmth of copper.
In good condition, they would grace the finest of houses.

This nice pair of salts are on hoof feet with a plain border and nicely gilded interiors. One has a very tiny split to the rim
and the legs are very slightly bent but visibly virtually unnoticeable.
Marks rubbed but still legible. A very nice handmade pair.
