I really do love this most attractive cabinet. This beautiful cabinet has three long drawers with brass ring handles enclosed by two doors above a larger lower drawer, standing on ebonised turned, round feet. During Victorian times Corromandel was one of the most expensive woods and was the chosen veneer for vanity boxes, jewellery and dressing cases. 19th Century Victorian Colonial Indian Campaign Chest. This most interesting Teak and Brass bound campaign chest was made in India around 1848. Fitted with an arcaded interior to the lid and an array of carved lidded compartments and lift out trays. 19th Century Faux Tortoise shell and Yellow Metal Box Portrait Miniature. This utterly charming little box is painted with a scene of two young girls, feeding chickens with crumbs of cake from the tea table. The gilt metal surround has an egg and dart decoration, the silvered border really does sparkle. The underside has a marblised effect. This box comes from a collection where only the best examples were purchased.

18th Century Oak Blanket Chest c1720. This chest is a beautiful rich colour which only comes through very many years of polishing. It has a top carved frieze four panels with diamond shaped carvings of scrollwork, well could well have been done in Victorian times which is quite normal.
