Regency Mahogany Davenport c1820.
This nice quality slide top desk has four drawers and dummies to the other side. The lid lifts to reveal three small drawers.
It is on hidden brass casters and two carrying handles.
When I bought this lovely piece it contained a quantity of personal correspondence and the passport of the lady who owned it, all included.
A wonderful rich honey colour.

This is a very good, original example complete with matching tea caddies and cut glass mixing bowls.
A perfectionist would probably say it needs a polish. Were I keeping it, I would give it a light wax and enjoy it as it is.
There is a small bit of damage to the caddy lid (please see photographs).
It is of Anthemion form on a bold barley twist stem and stands on three legs which are Regency in style.
A lovely, decorative example of early Victorian workmanship.

Unique Victorian Teak Military Campaign Secretaire Chest c1880 Colonial India Interest.
This is a fabulous example with an impressible provenance.
It was acquired by Colonel Baynes of The Indian Army around 1880. It has a brass plaque to the front,
detailing the journey of the chest over a period of some Thirty years which it covered.

Antique Portable Painted Side Table.
This most attractive polychrome table has one long and two short drawers.
The base with square tapering legs, joined by an x stretcher. It has a deep
gallery top and a carrying handle.
When you think about it, this is a very nice and useful piece. It can hold
personal belongings, then be carried to where ever in the room.
Very nicely made with Oak lined drawers. In good condition, an elegant
small piece.
