19th Century Mahogany Apprentice Miniature Chest with Tonbridge Banding.
This very attractive, little chest of drawers are on bracket feet.
The dawers are veneered in a rich Flame Mahogany with Tonbridge
ware crossbanding, the edges with Boxwood stringing.
The Brass handles are good quality with pierced backplate, I would
guess the original round knobs were replaced around one hundred
and thirty years ago.
The drawers are lined with Blue velvet and the sides are plain.

This lovely Baluster shaped, Fluted Coffee Pot has a
richly coloured Fruitwood handle and knop. The hallmarks
are for Newcastle 1890 and the Maker Initials H.S. It has been
in my family for over 60 years and has always been admired.
