Nanking Cargo, Large Sized Batavian Pavilion Saucer Dish c1750.
This saucer dish is much larger than other designs and also is more scarce.
The pattern depicts a small open pavillion perched on a promontory
within overhanging wintery foliage and evergreens. You can also see
a wide river meandering past a similar retreat on an outcrop in the

This Finely decorated set is nicely painted with a Lakeside scene depicting
Two birds flying above an elaborate pavilion on a promontory, beside pine
and willow, a sanpan and a pagoda on a distant island surrounded by stylised
clouds. The interior rim with spearheads and dumbells.

16th Century Marine Art Salt Glaze Chinese Shipwreck Storage Jar.
This wonderful European salt glaze storage jar is adorned all over
with sea life, making it a unique piece of marine art.
The light brown glaze is in subtle shades almost pink in parts.
Considering its age and where it has come from it's in remarkable
condition with only minor chips to the foot.

17th Century Chinese Provincial Pottery ‘Panel’ Bowl c1650.
This attractive bowl has seven panels, decorated with stylised fruiting vines. The inner rim has a
border literally of upright dashes within a double line border. Inside are stylised Lotus flowers within
a thick border. The foot has attached sandy grit which occurred after glazing.
As with all Chinese pieces of this period the glaze is crazed but generally in good condition.

'Boy on a Promontary' pattern saucer dish. This lovely blue and white piece depicts a boy seated on a rocky ledge at the edge of a lake, in the distance is an island with trees and masts of boats. This very pretty saucer dish is entirely moulded in shallow relief with a
flowerhead formed of spiraling rows of overlaying petals below a border
of embelled flowers.
These large saucer dishes are very rare, there were only two hundred
and seventy two in The Nanking Cargo of which some were broken. This
one has a small professional repair which is hardly noticable.
The saucer dish is of museum quality.
