This utterly Charming Parrot like bird is extremely Rare. Out of the Thousands of pieces from the Tek Sing Cargo that have been through my hands, this is the first and only one I have had. The bird is poised in the female mating position with its wings open. The crest, neck features, eye pupils and feet are painted in shades of Brown, the detailing of the beak and feathers are painted in a darker Brown and Pink pigments. This Very Fine bottle vase is from Very private collection. The trumpet above the Bulbous neck has been professionally replaced. I am told the trumpet was damaged and ground flat over 100 years ago. The vase is profusly decorated with Antique precious and ouspicious object, The painting is of a very high quality in Rich shades of Cobalt Blue There are no chips or cracks a few minor nibbles under the foot which are glazed and happened during manufacture. This Large, Enamel, Pottery bowl depicts a central comical underglazed Blue & White Lion. The inside of the bowl depicts colourful enamel foliage. The outside also depicts remaining enamel foliage and a thick crossed border with a double lined trim. Alot of this lovely pattern remains in ghost form, only to be seen in the right light which is quite interesting. The bowl is crazed and has a dull thud, all a bit crude. This Large, Blue & White Pottery dish depicts a central medallion of Two Phoenix in a river surrounded by Reeds and Foliage, The border is painted with what I think are Five Lillies between Scales.It’s so unbelievable how crude this piece is but oddly enough it adds to its individual charm The reverse has the remains of grit from the Kilm.
