this early set are most appealing, not only for the subject matter but that they are long and narrow. Looking at the number they are obviously part of a larger set.
These will be of particular interest to keen hunting types, comparing the difference between following hounds in the early 19th Century and scenes today, obviously the difference in dress, no coloured horses, docked tails etc.

Large 19th Century Oil Painting Landscape near Nottingham by Tom Trythall Rowe A stroll in the hayfield.
This good quality oil painting on canvas comes from an Estate near Nottingham. The gentleman I purchased it
from was born in the farmhouse shown and the figures are his ancestors.
When I purchased it some twenty years ago it had two areas of damage which occurred during a Zepplin raid in
the First World War since then it had been stored in the coach house.

Pair of Vintage Watercolours ‘Venice Backwaters’
Whenever I go to Venice I always take some images of painting that have been in my possession.
Its graet fun trying to identify these quiet backwaters in this most beautiful of cities.
This pair are very well painted in predominantly varying shades of browns and greens, capturing exactly
the tone and character of my favourite city.
In limed wood frames, one or two signs of now extinct worm.
