A lovely pair of watercolour depicting Datchet as it was in the 19th Century. Good attention to detail which means that they were almost certainly painted from life. Some minor foxing, to me most acceptable. Ideal for someone who lives in this beautiful village. Presently us framed

Sunningdale Park by Leigh Mulhall Kilpin The photographs really do not do these fabulous paintings justice 'beautiful, vibrant, exceptional, almost good enough to eat', are all words that spring to mind. A fine view of Northcote House, now a hotel set within beautiful grounds. The other depicts a rocky lake with parkland in the background. The venue is used for many a wedding, what better than to have these as a memory of that special day. Both signed and dated lower right. Prese ...click for details

This charming scene depicts the 15-16th Century half timbered cottages, typical of the style within this area. There is a man with walking stick walking down the lane. In good condition, the colours are good and crisp. Presently unframed. This is from a private collection, obviously someone that had a good eye. Signed lower right c.w.f

A charming and we'll painted scene of a typical 15-16th Century cottage. The attention to architectural detail leads me to believe that the artist had some knowledge of this subject. In good condition with nice crisp colours, initialed and dated lower left c.w.f 1982

A lovely Victorian scene of this well known Windsor landmark before it was rebuilt. Boveney Lock is on the River Thames situated on the Buckinghamshire bank opposite the Windsor Racecourse and close to Eton Wick. Boveney is a village a little way upstream on the same side. The lock was first built in 1838 by the Thames Navagation Commission. The lock was rebuilt in 1898 closer to the Buckinghamshire bank and a set of boat rollers were installed on the old site. An utterly charming painting ...click for details
