Of slim baluster shape with nice floral engraving to the lower body which is partially fluted. The domed cover is pierced below writhing finial. It bears the hallmarks for London 1885 and maker’s initials Edgar Finley and Hugh Taylor. A really nice piece. 14.5cm Tall Weight 2.4oz

This nice piece has been in the same old Norfolk family since it was given as a present in 1927. It bears the initials CRB from WLB 1 July 1927. The basket weave handle shows some signs of wear, the gadrooned border is crisp, as are the silver marks for London 1926 and makers initials G&S. Co Ltd. When I bought it the condition was black having spent a great many years in the family silver vault. Weight 491g size 13cm high 14.5 wide
