| This Oil painting on board depicts my favourite city, Norwich. With it's wonderful Cathedral which is over 1,000 years old, a lot of the stone used to build it came from Caen in France, quite a feat in those days. Signed in the lower Left 'Henry Collin' on the reverse is a visiting card HE Collin MBE Artist 45 Eaton Road, Norwich. in it's original Giltwood and hessian frame. In my opinion, I would assume that it was painted in the 1950's early 60's. A nice original example, showing our fine City and Cathedral. Size: 75cm (29"inches) by 50cm (19 1/2"inches) excluding frame. | |||||||
