| This superb Oil on Canvas depicts Thurne Dyke Mill which was built in 1820. Dominating this tranquil Broadland scene with traditional sailing boats and a cruiser. Numorus sails can be seen in the distance wending their way along the river Thurne which runs through some of the most picturesque marshes and reed beds in Norfolk. John Sutton was born in Norfolk in Blakeney. This painting really is an example of what John does best. Beautiful Norfolk Landscapes and the stunning sties only to be found here. I bought this picture from John Sutton about Thirty years ago and has been one of my favourites, but sadly has to now find a new home due to the sale ofmy parent house.
