| This lovely watercolour depicts a village street scene in Northern Italy and is an excellent example by this most accomplished Irish artist. The colours and condition are very good, with no foxing. It is signed in the lower right hand corner "K Morescaux 1908". It has been in our family for over 50 years and is a little dusty. Kathleen (1969-1944) a born artist that travelled the continent during her youth. She first exhibited at the RHA in 1893 under her maiden name Dennis. She continued there until 1935. She also exhibited with the Dublin Sketching Club, the WCSI, the fine srts society (London) and the ulster Academy of arts. Size: (Including Frame) 17 1/4"inches by 12"Inches.
