| Early Victorian Mustard Pot 1846. This top quality pierced design mustard pot is an excellent example of a Victorian silversmith. The pierced design depicts trailing vines, the lid has engraved scrollwork and a crest within a cartouche. There is a lovely shell thumb piece. The hallmarks are crisp and clear London 1846 with makers initials for Samuel Hayne and Dudley Chater. The pierced decoration shows beautifully against the blue glass. There is a spoon with this mustard pot, hallmarks for Edinburgh 1810 and a matching crest. Height: 9cm including finial. weight incl spoon excl liner: 131g. | |||||||||||
