| We are offering 11 signed spectacular Limoges plates that are in the wonderful original condition. There are no repairs or damage to the 11 plates we are selling. The back of each plate is signed as follows: Epidendrum Varicosum,Cattleya Exoniensis,Odontoglossum Aolexondrae,Vanda Batemannzi,Stanhopca Martianan(of which are two plates with different renderings),Cattleya Gigas,Lycaste Skinneri,Deadrobium Farmeri,Oncidium Krameri,Expidendrum Fincarifolium,and Epiderendrum. (We will give the buyer one more extra plate that has a damage on the rim and that is entitled Erpidendrum Rubescens.) Our business has sold many plates but we are excited to offer these 11 exquisite signed (Lacroix)limoges plates that measure 9 1/2" in diameter and date between 1892 to 1907. As you can see, each plate is designed with heavy gilded garlands of flowers and leaves which are placed between two gilded gold rims that border the large center floral design. Each plate has an individual specimen which is named on the back of the plate. There are 10 different flowers with one flower having two plates with different renderings. As you can see from the mark,these plates were offered by the retailer, Ovington Bros. We truly love the quality demonstrated by this artist. The condition and quality is just wonderful! | ||
