| It is not often that we come across a large asparagus platter (14 1/2" by 11 1/4"). It is especially rare because of the deep cobalt glaze. It also has complimentary colors of turquoise, white and moss green. We have also noticed the embossed asparagus and artichoke design in the center oval of the platter. The border has a regal design as you can view. There are no repairs or damage to this piece. It is in wonderful condition. This Victorian piece of American Majolica has no markings, just a number which has been pictured. We have noticed a small slight loss of color on the outer edge which was done in the making. This is very acceptable. We are pleased to offer this exceptional Majolica large platter! | ||
