Late 18th century walnut secretary desk from France (Provence). This French secretary desk has an unusual horizontal keyhole. The desk is most likely from a convent chapel’s sacristy. The front door opens for storage and the desk also has one large drawer on the lower front and five small drawers on the hutch. Early 20th century antique Italian trunk in the Renaissance style. The trunk is from Siena in Tuscany and has nice clean lines with with decorative lion paw feet on the front and back. The varnished poplar wood is a worn black color and looks great. The piece has been more recently relined on the inside and is in very good condition. Great looking. 6"H, 70.75"L, 22"D.

Late 17th century poplar Italian kitchen credenza with plate rack. The plate rack is actually from the 18th century but the two pieces look so good together that we are selling them together. This Italian kitchen credenza is actually called a "madia" in Italy and was once used for the making and storing of bread.
