Description: A gilt bronze figure of Buddha was standing on a square base of a stele. Under a pointed nimbus, the Buddha Sakyamuni was in a gesture of preaching and enlightening. When preserved with the original gilding on most part of the surface, the bronze figurine was found at the frontal side of the base with a precise date inscription of Tien-Bao-Er-Nien(The second year of the Tien-Bao periods) which was from the dynasty of Northern Qi. Though in paint, the surface was reflected with enduring patina which was similar to the gilt ones. She was kept with perfect condition including an original cover at the bottom.
