Description: A gilt bronze figure of Buddha was standing on a square base of a stele. Under a pointed nimbus, the Buddha Sakyamuni was in a gesture of preaching and enlightening. When preserved with the original gilding on most part of the surface, the bronze figurine was found at the frontal side of the base with a precise date inscription of Tien-Bao-Er-Nien(The second year of the Tien-Bao periods) which was from the dynasty of Northern Qi. By a detailed decoration, the bronze figure was applied with gold paint on the surface. Though in paint, the surface was reflected with enduring patina which was similar to the gilt ones.
