Description: A lovely Jun tea bowl was molded in an elm bowl’s shape. With a slightly inverted rim, the bowl stands by its small circular foot ring which was unglazed. In an attractive purple splash at the cavetto, the bowl was applied on the surface with the blue sky glaze. Cracks and minute bubbles were spread under the glaze. Some deposits were left at the center of the foot ring. Date: Jin Dynasty(11th-12th Century), Width: 9.8cm.

Description: A decent lotus-bud bowl from Jun kiln was in beautiful look. In a tint of the famous sky-blue glaze, the elegant bowl was shaped at the foot ring with regular wall. Developed with darkened colour which was caused by kiln firing, the unglazed foot ring was preserved with obvious burial earth. Description: A Jianyang Temmoko bowl was in rarely seen russet glaze. By a steep wall and a well shaped purplish foot ring, the bowl own all the fantastic characteristics of a Jianyang ware of Northern Song Dynasty.
As to the russet glaze at the cavetto and on the outside of the bowl, it was much unique and rare for a Jianyang piece. In perfect condition, this ancient bowl would be a sought-after Song ware to your collection. Date: Northern Song Dynasty.(11th-12th century)
