Description: A camphor wood arm chair was originally made in Taiwan in the late 19th century. With beautiful design, this chair was used to be put on the main side of a living room in pairs which were called Tai-Shi-Yi, the lord's chair. In heavy weight, it was tenoned firmly and preserved very well with original warm patina. There're only some decay at the front rim side. Height: 97.5cm width: 54.5cm x 47cm

Description: A beautiful inkcake rest was intriguingly made of pudding stone. With agate-like stone quality, this precious scholar item was preserved very well with only some old crack lines and some minor old frets. The stand was an old Suan-Ji wood piece from 19th century.

Description: A small inkstone was carved in different cliff style. On the pool side, the cloud pattern was carved fluently. A small scholar item especially an inkstone was hard to find. It could be a practical utensil and also a small art piece which could be viewed from different angles around your palms. Date: 19th Century. Length:7.8cm Width:6cm Height: 4.5cm
Condition: Kept with original Hon-Mu stand when lost of upper cover. A crack line was seen due to age.

Description: A cute stone tiger of Song Dynasty was carved with a red sandstone which was revealed under the old black paint from the frets on the tip of her nose.
The black paint was applied all over the surface except the bottom of the stand.
The evenly spread crackle paint was meaningful to this lovely stone cat for her 800 years of enduring age.
Date: Song Dynasty (12th Century)

Description: An old wood water basin was carved as a boy climbing at a wall.
Preserved with original condition, the paint of this cute rural scholar object was peeled off due to enduring ages. A boy climbing against a wall of a water basin was a popular motif often seen in different materials of Ming period. From the carving of the boy, the facial and the figure characteristics, this water basin was a piece with Ming style but was conservatively dated a Qing piece due to no further evidences. ...click for details

Description: A beautiful Qing-Bai bowl from 12th Century was in an elegant shape. White glazed and with light celadon tinge, this vessel
yielded the extraordinary mood the Song ceramics especially exemplified. Six-foliate
rim was shaped by a dexterous modelling skill. The foot rim was shaped in a clear straight way. A hard to find rare piece was kept in perfect condition with only one minor manufacturing defect on the cavetto.
