Description: A Yaozhou censer was in unique flatten form and was supported by five squeezed feet. In characteristic greenish tint, the censer was carved with floral motifs on the surface. It was done by sleek carving skills. Underside, the kiln effects and the padding frits were preserved for verification. Some similar pieces are found in the documentation. Date: Northern Song Dynasty, 11th/12th centuries. Width: 9cm. A CUSTOM-MADE SILK BOX IS INCLUDED. |
