Description: An oval shaped brush washer made of stone was originated from Tang or Liao Dynasty. In chrysanthemum decoration around the rim, the basin was kept with original whitish patina and some incursions within the tissues of the stone. Some defects can be found. Date: Tang Dynasty (AD618-906) Material: Soap stone. Length: 9.7cm Condition: An excavation piece, one defect on the rim, another on the bottom. |
