| Description: A piece of rootwood was adapted as a water dropper which was used by the Chinese scholars. Coloured inside with black paint for protection and to waterproof, the surface shone with old patina of dark brown. With intriguing shape and a savor of bookishness, this small piece yielded a true sense of Chinese scholar's connoisseurship.
