CHOSON PERIOD(1392-1910) dating from the late 19th century, of elegant globular form with a high waisted neck and broad mouthrim, the inside revealing wheel-turned construction. The underglaze blue and white decoration is superb both in detail and composition, the lotus flowers with stems and leaves beautifully rendered in subtle shades of blue and white cobalt tones.* The recessed footrim reveals an unidentified mark which is probably that of a kiln and not the artist.
