| AN ANTIQUE GERMAN CHROMO-LITHOGRAPH DEPICTING VARIOUS SPECIES OF BIRDS: Ardea nycticorax; Ardea minuta; Ardea stellaris; Grus cinera; Ibis religiosa; Scolophax rusicola; Scolophax gallinago; Vanellus cristatus. This was plate XXVI of an 1886 edition currently mounted on a board with archival tape (no glue) and double-matted. The mat is useable although the outer mat has some wear at the outer edges. The caption lists what is probably each bird’s German name and its proper Latin name as listed above. Approximate Dimensions: the print is 12-3/4” high x 16-1/2” wide; mat inner window is 10” x 14”; outer mat is 16”h x 20” wide. | ||
