This is Japanese Edo period silk uchishiki-maku textile Rare. It is uchishuki made in tenpo11(1840). The origin is from it to kimono before. It is very valuable. There are a part that was able to be rubbed and a part from which the string comes off. There is , It is thin Stain. The lining is hemp in Edo period. size:66cm x 396cm (26" x 155.90")

The part at the center of the back is shibori-silk of the safflower dye. Other parts are shibori-silk of the indigo dye. All the dyeing and weaving materials of nature are used.
