Baroque altar card made of plaster with a hammered tin cover. Originally part of a set of 3 for the altar at a Tridentine Mass. This one would have been placed on the right corner of the altar and has the prayers the priest would recite as he mixed the water and wine in the chalice and the psalm Lavabo for the washing of his hands by the acolytes. A plaster casting of a choir all chanting in the medieval style from a single book. An old label on the back says: "DaPRATO & Co Manufacturers of all kinds of STATUARY, Artistic and Classical subjects; also any kind of Architectural Work. 13-14 Waverly House, Charlestown District" Size is 10.75" x 7.25" x 1/2" Condition is good with a few small chips on the book and the hand holding it.
Oil painting on gesso and arched wood panel of the crucifixion of Jesus with the figures of Saint John gesturing below and the Virgin of Sorrows with her hands in prayer. Blood flows freely from the the Crown of Thorns and the five wounds in his hands, feet and side, trickling down the cross to the skull perched at the base. Beautifully carved wood figure or santos of a monk, possibly the Dominican friar, Saint Vincent, wearing a hooded cape and the monastic tonsure and holding a church or reliquary. The wood has a nice aged patina and is dense and very heavy. Condition is good except for the loss of the right hand, and some cracks in the wood consistent with a piece of this age, probably mid 19th century. Height is 19" Base is octagonal: 7" wide and 5.5" deep.
Russian brass icon lamp decorated by incision with flowers and leaves. Total length from smoke bell to tip of candle holder is 21" Candle holder opening is 4" in diameter and 5" in length. Condition is good.
An elegant, gilt metal sanctuary lamp from France in the Gothic Revival style with gothic arches and turrets, hanging from 3 original metal chains and smoke bell. A green glass votive candle hangs from the chains above the hexagonal base. Total length from smoke bell to the ring at the bottom is 38" The six-sided base is 7.5" wide, perfect size for a small church, chapel or oratory. Condition is excellent.
Wooden box in the shape of a chevron with leaves carved on the top, elm leaves on the sides and 1 maple leaf on the inside of the cover. The initials are carved on one corner: FLL SWD RTH. The date, July 1898, is carved on the other corner. Size is 3.25" long, 2.5" wide, 1.25" high. Condition is excellent with just one chip on the corner near the initials.
French bronze statue of the Roman goddess of agriculture, seated on a Victorian bench, holding a sheaf of wheat and wearing a crown of acorns and fruit. Height is 16" Base measures 8.25" deep and 8" wide. Condition is excellent.

French transferware plate ca 1835 with a scene of men fighting with swords. Text in French: Louis D'Assas (Capne. au reg d'Auvergne) au moment ou il crie: a moi Auvergne. Ce soit les ennemis. Flat rimless bottom with the impressed Montereau mark. Lovely border of flowers and leaves. Diameter is 8.5" Condition is very good with a few hairlines above the men and to the left and below the word Louis.
