Beautiful oil painting on copper of a female saint wearing a crown and medieval style cloak and dress, holding in her right hand the palm of martyrdom and taking an arrow from an angel in her left hand. Her bodice is fastened with a clasp in the shape of cherub with wings. This is probably Saint Ursula, the patron saint of young girls and teachers. The frame is ebonized wood: 13.5" x 15" x 2" thick. 19th century polychromed and carved wooden statue of a bishop wearing gilt vestments, a miter and gloves. In his right hand he holds a crozier with what looks like a fleur-de-lys in the crook. In his left hand he holds a book with 2 fish resting on it.
