Simple white marble bust in the art nouveau style of a young woman with flowers in her hair which is pulled back in a bun. On the back is etched Trapassi. Height is 7" Base is 3.5" x 2.5" Condition is good except for a nick on her nose and a small chip off the right front corner of the base.

Large polychromed and carved wood figure or statue of a priest or monk wearing a gold cope with a hood and red lining, a white alb and a silver belt, probably from 19th century Latin America. His hair sports the medieval style called the monastic tonsure. The santo is 13" tall with the newer wooden base. The base is 4" wide and 3.5" deep. Condition is good with the loss of his two hands and some of the polychrome.

Polychromed and carved wood figure or statue of a friar wearing the black and white Dominican habit and the monastic tonsure, probably from 19th century Latin America. He holds a red covered book with a gold lined scapular. Possibly the learned Saint Thomas Aquinas or Saint Vincent Ferrer. Condition is good with some loss of polychrome and gesso. Face is very handsome. Height is 11" Base of robes is 3.5" by 2"

Condition is good with the obvious loss of some polychrome and the right side of the old base. Height with the new wood base is 13" The new wooden base is 4.5" wide by 3.25" deep.

Carved wood religious figure of a bearded bishop saint wearing a miter, flowing chasuble and the pallium. One hand is over his heart; the other holds what looks like a loaf of bread. He also holds a staff. The statue is 11.5" tall with a base of 3.25" across the front and 3" deep. Condition is good except for the loss of the bottom of one of the strips of cloth which hang from the back of the miter.

SOLD 

19th century Grand Tour figure of the Roman god, Mercury, or in the Greek, Hermes, with winged feet and helmet holding a sword and shield. He balances on one foot on a black metal column with gilt metal base and cap. On the cap are the symbols of the caduceus, a staff with intertwined snakes, a star and a cornucopia or horn of plenty. The figure is painted black with traces of gold showing through. Total height of the base and statue is 16" The base is 4.5" square.
