Thurible made of brass (possibly Russian) with jingle bells for feet. Applied metal seraphim are interspersed with piercings for the incense smoke to escape. A ring of oak leaves and chestnuts decorates the rim of the pot. One of the wings of the angels has broken off (as pictured). Censer itself is 9.5" tall. With chains extended 28" in length. Middle chain is shorter than the 3 outer ones.
Pair of French plates circa 1830 with images of two apostle evangelists, Saint John and Saint Matthew. Faience by Fouque and Avenour, on the back the letter A with a backwards R superimposed on it. Diameter of each plate is 8.75"
Carved wood and gesso figure of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, Virgin and Martyr, holding a wheel, the instrument of her passion, polychromed in both gold and silver, probably early 19th century German. Some losses on the wheel and hand. Dimensions: 19.5" tall; base is 4" x 3.5"
