| Interesting carved wooden box made from old stained oak fragments originally part of a gothic piece of furniture. Three sides have towers with crosses pierced through. There are also circles and trefoils with crosses that go right through to the inside of the box. The top is nicely carved with a floral/leave design. Both the top and bottom are finished off with crenellations as on a castle. From the inside it looks like the box was constructed sometime around 1910. Size is 11" wide by 8" deep by 7" tall. | ||
