| 19th century carved and polychromed wood figure of Saint Vincent Ferrer, so popular in Latin America and the Philipines. He wears the typical Dominican friar's monastic tonsure and black and white habit. His wings are gone, but he still sports the remains of a metal halo. He holds his arm up in blessing and stands on a blue cloud. Total height with the newer wood base is 15" The base is 5.5" across the front and 3.5" deep. Condition is good with the obvious loss of his hands, wings and part of the base. | ||
