| Nicely framed French lithograph of a watercolor by Alfred Dedreux. The lithograph is entitled in French at the bottom 'Etudes variés' translated Various studies with 'Lith. par Jaime' on the left bottom and 'Imp. Lith. de Cattier' on the right bottom. Above the print is the name of the artist, Alfred Dedreux, 1810-1860. Equestrian sports were his great love and there are many oils and watercolors to attest to it. This one shows the huntsmen in their red hunting jackets and white breeches with hunting horns strapped on riding down a country lane; a peasant woman and a dog watch from the side. The lithograph is nicely matted and beautifully framed in an old light-colored knotty wood with a painted black border. There is foxing on the matte. Size of the frame is 17" x 13.5" The colored part of the lithograph is 9.75" x 7.5" | ||
