Early 19th Century, it is exquisitely carved from a single piece of sycamore.
It is 15 inches long, The bowl has a diameter of 3 3/4 inches.
As can be seen from the photograph there is a small chip on the edge
of the bowl. I have seen many Love Spoons this, that I'm beginning to
think it is part of the design !
Circa 1860. Intricately inlaid with mother of pearl and abalone and very finely painted & gilded.
It measures 8 1/4 inches high
and 9 1/2 inches wide.
