SOLD 

Great sterling silver ring with a fabulous flowing design, by the Bayanihan jewelry company. Based in Massachusetts, it was started in 1974 by a gentleman who had worked for the Peace Corps in the Philippines. The word Bayanihan means a spirit of communal unity.

I have a similar but much larger, bolder and more audacious version of this ring listed. See item number 1334.

This large bronze sculptural pendant of two joined bodies is reminiscent of or inspired by the works of Carl Tasha. Highly sensual with a fluid design, it's unsigned and is 4 inches long by 5 inches wide. The pendant is suspended on a doubled silk cord and is very well crafted and in excellent condition.

Wonderful pair of Salvador Teran silver earrings with an industrial design look. The heavily patinated earrings are screwbacks (could be converted) and are in excellent condition and marked as pictured. These are quite rare and also heavy, weighing in at 122 grams for the pair. Unique and striking, they are 1 3/4 inches long.

Abstract sterling silver Rey Urban pin made for the A.Fausing company of Denmark. Urban was Swedish and produced his own jewelry but executed many designs for Fausing. The pin is 1 3/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches. Excellent condition and signed Rey Urban. I have another Urban piece listed which can also be worn as a pendant.

Striking ring for Georg Jensen by Nanna Ditzel. An acclaimed designer, Ditzel also designed furniture and textiles and worked well into her 80s. She are her husband started working for Jensen in the 1950s. This chevron shaped ring is elegant and unusual. It has a streamlined almost art deco design. It's about a size 5 3/4 and in fine condition.

Studio pottery vase by Horst Kerstan who is considered one of the major ceramic artists of the 20th century. He studied with Richard Bampi in Kandern and then took over his studio when Bampi died in 1965.

Sculptural, modernist silver bracelet and ring by the Austrian studio, relo. Well designed and constructed, the elegance of both pieces is noteworthy. The bracelet weighs 49 grams and is 1 inch wide with an inner circumference of 6 1/2 inches, though it has an overall oval shape. The ring is a size 7, but open in the back so there is some flexibility in sizing. Excellent condition on both pieces.

Sterling silver necklace by David Andersen. Part of a series of pieces that utilized Nordic symbols in a modernized fashion, the pendant on this piece is 3 1/4 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide. It is on a paper clip style chain which is marked 935 and OXO. In excellent condition, this is a classic David Andersen design.

Lovely Scandinavian sterling silver and enameled pendant/pin. This very sculptural and stylized floral piece is lightly gilded. In excellent condition (the spot that may appear to be a chip in the enamel is not. It's a tiny glaze skip.) This can be worn as a pin or a pendant (see photo of the back). It measures 1 3/4" in diameter and is marked on the rear for Sterling Silver and with the signature of Karl Jorgen Otteren who also designed for David Andersen.

SOLD 

West German ceramic vase with a rough textured finish and enameled center. The vase is 14" tall and tapered. The top and bottom sections have a rough textured greenish finish. The center is composed of three bands of abstractly painted circles that alternate in height within the band. In excellent condition and in a muted palette, this is a nice example of mid century production pottery.
