This sterling silver pendant/brooch is by Unn Tangerud for Uni David Andersen. This piece was designed in 1964 and is titled "Unn's Sun Chariot", part of the Troll Series. In excellent condition, it is fully marked on the rear. The piece is 2 inches in diameter and set which a rhodochrosite. This piece is illustrated in an article about the Troll Series of jewelry on the effie-graa website.

This sterling silver Scandinavian ring is by
Kultakeskus Oy of Finland. The surface shows myriad contrasts between shiny and matte, smooth and rough, and flat and incised. Interestingly, the thickness of the central piece varies as well (see third photo). The band is somewhat adjustable as it is open in the back but is currently a size 7. The inner shank bears the makers mark for Kultakeskus Oy as well as 925 for silver content. The oval is 14mm x 19mm.

Silver and amber signed cuff bracelet by the Danish firm, Hermann Siersbol. The cuff, which widens out from the top has a lightly hammered surface as does the top of the slightly concave top circular piece. The large amber (22mm) is set in a bezel of interlocking wires with ball tipped prongs. The whole central element is 45mm in diameter. The bracelet is marked on the inside 925SHS. This Scandinavian modernist ring has a highly sculptural surface with the contrast between the "dug out" and surface areas heightened by the matte and shiny finishes. I find his work of this type to be reminiscent of Lapponia and have a similar ring but with a round top (item #282, dated 1976). This ring is marked with Hyvarinen's MJH makers mark, 925, the city mark for Turku and U7 for 1973. This silver necklace set with rock crystals is by the Finnish firm, Kultasepat Salovaara. The use of negative space makes the rock crystals very prominent in the design. The pendant is 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inch wide. The chain is 32 inches and marked 835 and with a maker's mark that resembles chain links but I don't know who it is. This art nouveau (Skonvirke) pendant was made by Danish silversmith Bernhard Hertz. Skonvirke was the Danish equivalent of the Arts & Crafts movement which manifested as Art Nouveau in France, Jugendstil in Germany and Secessionstil in Austria.
