| Scandinavian glass vase designed by Bengt Orup for Hyllinge, Sweden. Most of his work was done for Johansfors but he spent four years at Hyllinge before returning there. Trained as a painter, he moved on to glass and later returned to painting. This piece is part of the Cinder, Stromboli series which can be found on his website. It is signed on the base Orup H but I could not photograph it. In excellent condition, it is 7 1/2 inches tall and the olive colored glass is decorated with a spatter type pattern that puts me in mind of a Pimms's Cup cocktail! | ||||||
