| Striking sterling silver and porcelain ring by Anton Michelsen. This is a rare and unusual piece from the Royal Bini series of jewelry. The line was created in 1968 when Royal Copenhagen bought the Anton Michelsen firm. To commemorate this event a line of jewelry made from silver and porcelain was created. What appears to be a purely abstract design is in fact a Picasso like stylized face. This is most apparent when viewed in profile - see photos. The top of the ring is 1 1/16th long and 13/16ths wide. It sits 1/2 inch above the finger and is a size 5-5 1/4. The U shaped shank is 3 1/16ths wide. The marks on this ring are also unusual - the back of the porcelain has the Royal Porcelain mark. Fabulous piece of art jewelry. | ||||||||||
