| This studio pottery vase is by Wendelin Stahl, a highly regarded 20th century ceramicist. He was part of the third generation of potters in his family. His work often has an architectural quality with heavy solid forms and very subtle glazes. Highly collectible today, if you Google his name you will find other galleries in New York and Germany that carry his work. This piece has a magnificent crystalline glaze. The vase stands 15 1/2 inches tall and is 27 1/2 inches in circumference. In excellent condition, this is a substantial and imposing piece of ceramic art. | ||||||||
