| Sterling silver modernist cast pendant, by Theresia Hvorslev, Sweden,1974. Theresia Hvorslev designed for Swedish firms Mema and Alton before going out on her own. She's still working and has a studio in Lidköping, Sweden. She has won numerous awards and her work is exhibited around the world. This pendant has the marks for sterling, Sweden, the town mark for Lidköping, the manufacturer's mark for MEMA, the signature of Theresia for the designer and the year mark (Z9) for 1974. It's a weighty (151.5 grams) and sensual piece. Distinctive design and well executed, the chain it is displayed on is sterling silver but new and can be included. The pendant measures 1 3/4" by 3".
